Jennifer Fornal, Director for Special ProjectsJennifer Fornal provides operational leadership and management to many of Temescal Associates projects in the areas of youth development and out-of-school programming. Jennifer’s experience in organizational development and systems thinking combined with strong logistical skills make her an excellent project manager. She brings close to 15 years of experience working in the field of youth development.

Prior to her work with Temescal Associates, Jennifer was with Community Network for Youth Development as a Senior Project Manager where she was responsible for implementing after school partnerships initiatives and projects throughout the state of California.  During her tenure, she was part of the managing intermediary team for the San Francisco Beacon Initiative, and helped to launch a three year Learning Community to build the capacity of new 21st Century high school after school programs throughout California.  Jennifer also spearheaded efforts to create the Youth Development Peer Network, a community of youth workers and organizational leaders in the Bay Area who provide professional networking and peer learning opportunities to local youth development practitioners. Prior to her work in San Francisco, Jennifer served as the Associate Director of Heart of Los Angeles Youth (HOLA), a community-based youth organization in Los Angeles.
